TULSA -
Despite the critics and nay sayers that do not understand the culture, hip hop
is very much alive in Tulsa. With
Dangerous Rob's upcoming album, "Itz a Dangerous World." The Tulsa
hip-hop movement fires its first salvo towards national recognition on April 3,
2007. Dangerous Rob's album speaks
about the struggles of living in a Dangerous World from street life to
Hurricane Katrina to the War in Iraq.
These topics have been interlaced with top-shelf producers and the album
has taken a newsworthy spin with the release of "Itz a Dangerous
World" featuring Coco Jones.
The
roster list of established and upcoming engineers and producers on this new
album brings it to a new level.
Super-producer
4-Five, from the luminous Dogg Pound adds his touch with songs like "Still
Blazin'". As an official producer
for the Dogg Pound and head of their national street team, 4-Five has a lot to
offer to the life blood of this album.
Jacc Spade, who is the brother of Grammy winning Tony Estes, also makes
his debut on "Itz Dangerous World"
As if
this is not enough, Dangerous Rob reached into the coffers of hidden treasure
to dig up the golden-child, The Big Man.
The Big Man's craftiness in radio friendly compositions and experience
with all-star rappers make his music easy on the ear. He has worked with Snoop Dogg, RBX, Suga Free, Spice 1 and Flesh
and Bone to name a few of the industry kats that have graced his music. Now THE BIG MAN can add Dangerous Rob TO HIS
ROSTER with the song "Love tha Player-Hate tha Game".
With
the release of Dangerous Rob's intermittent single, "Never Stop Loving
Me," radio personalities and program directors in several markets were
introduced to BROK Bundlez. Who is BROK
Bundelz?
That's
easy. Put Brooklyn (his hometown) with
Oklahoma (his new found home) and you get BROK. Now add Bundle with a touch of class and some money, you then get
producer extraordinaire, BROK Bundlez.
When asked to describe his style, BROK Bundelz said, "I try to
remain true to myself as a real renaissance man able to manipulate hip-hop,
R&B, jazz, soul and classical music into a meaty stew of loops, hooks and
beats; always pleasing to the ear and filling for the soul." BROK is best known for his early work with
Kool G Rap, and recent work with other upcoming Brooklynites. Hungry MCs circle him constantly looking for
a hit beat. With several tracks on
Dangerous Rob's new album, this chef is dusting off his pot to cook up the
perfect recipe for success.

This
past March in 2006, Dangerous Rob was seen hanging at the Gypsy Tea Room in
Dallas with hip hop legends Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Ice Cube. Most recently, Dangerous Rob was spotted
backstage at a concert with Jurassic 5 at the Cain's Ballroom. Prior to that, D-Rob was performing with
Juvenile in that same infamous venue.
From
the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and back to Tulsa, Oklahoma, there has been
a barrage of albums over the years. With the hired guns and support of all his
fans, there's no telling when this will stop or where it will end because Rob's
career is really starting to skyrocket.
