TULSA  -  Election day has come and gone.  The votes have been tallied and the real results have arrived.  The General has announced, “It’s a Dogg Pound Day” and it seems they are about to arguably take over the house.  The Dogg Pound Next Generation is pioneering uncharted waters with their endorsement deal with the luminary Dogg Pound featuring Daz Dillinger and Kurupt.  Visit www.myspace.com/dpnextgeneration for more information.

What is the Dogg Pound Next Generation?  Make no mistake.  It is not a group. It’s an entire movement.  The Next Generation is six new faces.  They are from six different places and they are in the DPGC Idol contest.  The Dogg Pound Next Generation album is slated for release in 2007.

The Dogg Pound Next Generation has officially converged on the scene.  This nationally renowned group of rappers has been seen at community awareness events in Tulsa, Oklahoma and rippin’ microphones in some of the best venues in places like Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Washington DC.  This is definitely over shadowed by their fans and supporters in Canada and overseas.  This Next Generation conglomeration of rappers has fans all around the globe from the United Kingdom and Germany all the way down to the islands of Japan.   This group recently pumped out melodic radio jams called Still Blazin’ and Next Generation featuring Kurupt.

It’s obvious to anyone who inquires these rappers run in deep circles.  Their individual discographies are impeccable and impressive to say the least, especially with the veterans of the group.  With their unique, individual rapping styles this movement of next generation rappers will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride through their “hood.”

In addition to their group efforts, all of the individuals have side projects, mixed tapes, or both. All of the Next Generation rappers have dedicated themselves to the new movement.

According to the General of the rap entourage, Dangerous Rob, when asked about his recent successes with Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound's newly formed group, he stated, "All of my hard work and perseverance is finally paying off and being recognized." Last March in 2006, Dangerous Rob was seen backstage at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas with Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Ice Cube.  Dangerous Rob also wants us to know that the radio singles Still Blazin’ and Next Generation featuring Kurupt, as well as his mixtape on CD, adds on internet stations for radio play, and the video "Cause I'm Black" was only the first salvo in a series of future projects.  For more information about Dangerous Rob, please visit www.dangerousrob.com or www.myspace.com/dangersquad13.

The other five members of the group are Meko, Chaotic, J Tripz, Montana, and Lix.  Specifically, Meko is from the southern hip-hop music mecca of Atlanta.  The Washington DC phenomenon and rap prodigy is known in the industry as Chaotic.  J Tripz and Montana are from the home of West Coast gangsta rap, Los Angeles and the Bay Area near San Francisco, respectively.  And Lix is from NYC.

Dangerous Rob will be opening for Juvenile on November 10, 2006 at the world-renowned Cain’s Ballroom.

The mixtape, titled “Comin' from tha Thugg”, features exclusive tracks by Snoop, Daz, and the infamous Makivelli.  It is only available from FREEDAM Records here in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is expected to become a collector's item in time.  The mixtape is only the beginning of what is to come.  Due to his successes in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan, we can expect bigger things from Dangerous Rob with the release of his upcoming full-length album Itz a Dangerous World - scheduled to hit stores in soon.
